The Sundance film festival opened this week and, mixed in among its usual variety of indie movies, is the portrayal of a man we’re all familiar with in electronics world: Steve Jobs. He’ll be played in the movie jOBS by actor Ashton Kutcher. …No, really, it’s true. Kutcher, known for “That ’70s Show,” “Two and Half Men,” “Dude, Where’s My Car?” and, of course, for his relationship with Demi Moore, will be playing one of the greatest influencers of tech and communications of all time. OK, the resemblance is uncanny. (Although I don’t recall any photos of Jobs ever having eyes quite like that. Hear me, ladies?) But Kutcher? In coming across this news, I wondered if it was some elaborate prank from Kutcher’s “Punk’d,” a hidden camera, practical joke reality show he created for MTV. There’s one rumored story about Jobs that keeps coming to mind as I consider this casting. Word...
