In celebration of the first anniversary of the Raspberry Pi, we are pleased to sponsor the first Raspberry Pi Design Contest by MAKE. It is a challenging competition to make something new, beautiful, or educational with the Pi. MAKE is a leader in providing inspiration and knowledge to a large number of makers in the US and we are excited to be able to offer the contestants a wide range of Raspberry Pi accessories, bundles and other components to help them create an amazing entry. Each entry should use the Raspberry Pi as an intrinsic part of the project, but may include other circuitry, software, mechanical, or sculptural parts as needed. Judges provided by MAKE and MCM will select a grand prize winner, as well as one winner for each of the following four categories: Artistic: Use the physical computing of Raspberry Pi as a component of your music, animation, sound, perfo...
