It is very useful list to grasp "IoT wannabe" candidates. Thank you. WiFi / 802.15.4 ratio is about 50 / 50. I wonder if WiFi and 802.15.4 are co-exist for their own domains, or one will beat another in near future. Cleary WiFi is more popular (virtually all cell-phones, tablets and PCs have it) and much faster, but WiFi is power hungly and not good long-distance /NLOS connectivity. 802.15.4 is cheaper and power efficient, generally better connectivity, but not as popular as WiFi. It is interesting to see if "ultra low power" WiFi chip (such as TI CC3000) can sucessfully invade to 802.15.4 domain.
