Mark your calendar! EDN's @Deffree & @NaomiEP of @igeneration 2 speak at 3/9 IEEE Integrated #STEM Education Conference

March is a big month for STEM (science/technology/engineering/math) here at EDN . We have our “Engineering the next generation” cover story out with an accompanying editorial about how the electronics industry can address the so-called engineering crisis (concerns about the low number of incoming engineers as compared to the high number of engineers expected to exit the workforce in the near term). At Design West , we have a panel on STEM and a networking event following that panel that we hope will encourage some mentor/mentee connections. And on Friday, March 9, I’ll be speaking on behalf of EDN about this important subject at the IEEE Integrated STEM Education Conference (ISEC) at the College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ.
