Gigabyte aims to ship 3.3 million graphics cards in 2012 Monica Chen, Taipei; Adam Hwang, DIGITIMES [Monday 23 April 2012] Gigabyte Technology, in view of successful marketing in the Latin America market especially in Brazil and Mexico, aims to ship 3.3 million graphics cards in 2012, growing by 10% from 2011, according to the company. Gigabyte has launched GV-N680D5-2GD-B, its latest high-end graphics card equipped with Nvidia 28nm-based GeForce GTX 680 GPU and GDDR5 memory for professional gaming at a retail price of about NT$15,000 (US$508), the company indicated. In addition, Gigabyte has launched gaming peripheral devices for sale under its own brand Aivia, including the gaming mouse, Aivia Krypton and mechanical gaming keyboard, Aivia Osmium as well as a WHDI peripheral, SkyVision.
