Thanks Margery. That $14k is indeed a "go away, don't bother me" price, especially on a $2.50 BOM. Nothing more than Netflix/BoA/PowerBall marketing greed - slap your customer in the face with exhorbitant and unnecessary fees because that's what they may have told you to do at the Haas School of Business. How far do you think TI would get if the FREE code they provide on their DSPs had a $14,000 price tag on it? Can I pick up the phone and ask TI about a particular code segment without them swiping the credit card first - of course I can (and that's why they are NUMBER ONE).
