Huawei to give Intel LTE development support in China Peter Clarke 4/30/2012 6:58 AM EDT LONDON – Intel's aspirations selling chips for mobile equipment have received a boost with the news that Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. has agreed to work with Intel on the testing and rapid deployment of the time division duplex format applied to Long Term Evolution standard. Huawai (Shenzhen, China) is one of the world's largest suppliers of telecommunications and networking equipment. Huawei has agreed to set up a laboratory in China with Intel for interoperability testing and the rapid implementation of LTE TDD technology. The collaboration will be based on Huawei's know how in LTE TDD network infrastructure and Intel's mobile communications platforms, Huawei said.
