The updated Apple Mac mini (A1283) desktop computer features an NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M graphics processor with 128 or 256 Mbytes of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory. The 6.5-in.-square, 2-in.-tall, 2.9-lb mini runs on a 2.0-GHz (P7350) Intel Core 2 Duo processor that comes standard, or built to order with a 2.26-GHz (P8400). The computer offers a 120- or 320-Gbyte internal 5,400-rpm SATA hard drive, with 250 Gbytes optional on the base model, and 1 Gbyte (one 1-Gbyte SO-DIMM) RAM or 2 Gbytes (two 1-Gbyte SO-DIMMs) of 1,066-MHz DDR3 SDRAM with two SO-DIMMs, upgradeable to 4 Gbytes of RAM. Other features include a mini-DVI port and Mini DisplayPort capabilities, a FireWire 800 port, slot-loading 8x SuperDrive with double-layer support, and updated firmware that allows support of wireless Remote Install Mac OS X.
