#3DPrinting Helped to Save Woman's Kidney via @PDandD #medtech

Healthcare has once again received a life-saving assist from 3D printing technology. Doctors at a university hospital in China recently used 3D printing technology to plan tumor removal surgery. Because of the planning, doctors were able to remove the tumor from the 60-year-old patient’s kidney without having to remove the organ, a feat that couldn’t typically be accomplished without 3D printing technology.
