Taiwan market: Chunghwa Telecom leads in 3G mobile Internet-access speed, says survey

The survey was carried out by the Department of Electrical Engineering under the National Taiwan University during August 15, 2011-May 28, 2012. The survey covered 93% of 3G base stations around Taiwan and consisted of 103,954 speed measurements performed by 38,409 3G subscribers. CHT accounted for 35% of the samples, followed by Taiwan Mobile (TWM) with 29%, Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) 28% and Vibo Telecom 8%.
