Featuring two serial ports, eight GPIO and supporting LAN network protocols the low profile module measures 18.3 x 26.1 x 3.0mm and consumes down to 6uA in standby mode. The embedded server is said to provide a web management interface for displaying the module and communication status, configuring the module parameters and setting up different WLAN profiles. The XPW100100k-01 evaluation kit includes an xPico wireless module, 5Vdc wall adapter and an evaluation board with connectors for antenna, USB and Ethernet. Other kits offer the option of using an xPico SMT package with or without an on-board chip antenna.
