The research will be carried out at the 106MW Nyngan and 53MW Broken Hill solar power plants, which are being funded by the Solar Flagships program. In June, AGL Energy was announced as the successful bidder for funding, with First Solar supplying the PV modules and providing engineering, procurement and construction services for the project. The research by UQ and UNSW will be supported by a $40.7 million Education Investment Fund Research Infrastructure Program. This funding will be used t...
