Next month’s DESIGN East conference, hosted by EDN ’s parent company UBM, offers do-it-yourselfers a chance to show off their skills. Editor Karen Field launched this event at DESIGN West last spring in San Jose and now brings it to Boston. Here’s what Karen has to say about the DESIGN East Gadget Freak DIY Lab: Have you built an amazing gizmo or fabulous gadget using electronic components and parts? Join other creative engineers and inspired tinkerers at Design East as they share in five minutes how they taped, screwed, soldered, and wired together their favorite DIY projects and snag a chunk of your Andy Warhol fame!
