Caltest Instruments has been appointed as the UK distributor and dedicated UK service centre for electric vehicle battery pack testing specialist Arbin Instruments. US-based Arbin supply test systems for electric vehicle battery pack testing and automated fuel cell testing stations. These and the Super Capacitor Test Station are based around Arbin’s modular potentiostat/galvanostat, the BT2000. The multi-channel BT2000 can be configured for a range of voltage and current requirements used in materials research and all the way through to high power battery pack testing for electric vehicles. "Arbin have already established an international reputation as leading suppliers of battery and fuel cell test equipment," said David Sheath, general manager of Guildford-based Caltest.
