China market: B2C portal 360buy to procure handsets worth CNY100 billion over three years Adam Hwang, DIGITIMES, Taipei [Friday 21 September 2012] China B2C web portal 360buy will sign with more than 20 handset vendors including Nokia, HTC, Huawei Technologies and Lenovo for strategic procurement of handsets with a total estimated value of CNY100 billion (US$15.8 billion) over three years, according to China-based tech.qq.com . The firm expects its B2C handset sales to exceed CNY10 billion in 2012, the report indicated. In the China market, the proportion of total sales volume of handsets for B2C online channels rose from 3.8% in January 2012 to 5.87% in May, the report pointed out.
