PV Taiwan 2012: BenQ Solar introduces integrated solar solution Julian Ho, Taipei; Jackie Chang, DIGITIMES [Wednesday 3 October 2012] Taiwan-based BenQ Solar, a subsidiary of AU Optronics (AUO), is currently showcasing its latest AC Unison integrated solar PV solution at PV Taiwan 2012. The firm has also been promoting mini-grid solution for residents in remote areas in Taiwan for saving energy cost. According to AUO, BenQ Solar's solution can be adopted by residential homes, businesses and power-generating plants. The AC Unison integrated solution can generate power, monitor usage, and store energy. BenQ Solar added that the firm's solar PV solution is specially for high building density cities in Taiwan.
