E Ink showcasing color-variable e-paper technology at Architecture Biennale 2016 Rebecca Kuo, Taipei; Adam Hwang, DIGITIMES [Monday 30 May 2016] EPD (electrophoretic display) maker E Ink Holdings (EIH) is showcasing a house, novelty furniture and a pillar made of in-house-developed color-variable e-paper E Ink Prism at Architecture Biennale 2016 taking place in Venice, Italy, during May 28-November 27, according to the company. The walls of the house are made of 32 tiles of 32-inch E Ink Prism e-paper, with the e-paper tiles capable of dynamic display of information and images as well as static display via reflecting ligting without consuming power, EIH indicated. The furniture is a table with four legs wrapped with flexible e-paper, and the table looks like floating in the air when the color of e-paper turns into dark, EIH said.
