Currently, energy storage in devices takes the forms of capacitors/super-capacitors, which hold less power, but can quickly charge and discharge. Batteries hold more charge, but are heavier and relatively slower. The new graphene foam-battery has similar capacity and weight as existing lithium batteries, but is capable of charge and discharge rates which are nearly as fast as a capacitor – it can completely ...
