LIVE WEBINAR: Acoustics Simulation in Microphones, Mobile Devices & Hearing aids using COMSOL. Join Now: #COMSOL...

When modeling acoustics in devices with small geometrical features, it is necessary to include the effects of thermal conduction and viscous losses in the physical description. The physics of thermoacoustics introduces the resulting frequency dependent losses. This webinar is meant for anyone interested in simulation of small acoustic devices like microphones, mobile devices or hearing aids. Several model examples are presented and discussed. Comments are also made on efficient modeling strategies by coupling thermoacoustics to classical pressure acoustics and lumped models.
