#Siemens Receives Order for Combined Cycle #Power Plant in Brazil; will supply reliable & clean power to Manaus region

The UTE Mauá 3 CCPP will be located in Manaus, the capital of the State of Amazonas. The natural-gas-fired plant will have an installed capacity of approximately 580 megawatts making this the largest natural gas plant in the Amazon region. Siemens will deliver the engineered power island, including two SGT6-5000F gas turbines, one SST6-5000 steam turbine, three SGen6-1000A generators, and the SPPA-T3000 instrumentation and control system. The gas turbines, steam turbines and generators will be manufactured in the Siemens factory in Charlotte, North Carolina. Furthermore, Siemens will provide technical field assistance (TFA) during the erection and construction, which will be done by Construtora Andrade Gutierrez S.A..
