Good news from Germany, market up 20% in Q1 no comment richard wilson 2013/05/29 Germany’s component distribution market seems to be stabilising, much to the relief of suppliers and distributors alike. According to the FBDi, the professional association of component distribution in Germany, its member companies saw revenues in the first quarter jump by 20% on the last quarter. With Germany being by far Europe’s largest component market, its commercial health is not only important for local supplier, but has a knock-on effect to other countries which trade with it. “The potential for German industry is by European and international comparison excellent,” said FBDi managing director, Wolfram Ziehfuss.
