Hammond Manufacturing offers a range of molded plastic enclosures for popular credit-card size, bare-board computers, including Arduino, BeagleBone, and Freescale Freedom, to accommodate basic functionality across a wide range of applications. Although similar in size and shape, these development boards differ in the positioning of I/O, power, and expansion ports. Hammond’s enclosures are machined to the particular design of each board, with machine slots, cutouts, and apertures in the cover and end panels. Derived from the company’s 1593 series of enclosures, the design-specific housings are available in translucent blue, black, or grey ABS plastic with a satin finish. They afford good protection for the development board and furnish dedicated access positions for external connectivity, such as Ethernet, USB, and serial ports.
