SanJet, Zillians team up for driving recorder market Daniel Shen, Taipei; Adam Hwang, DIGITIMES [Monday 30 December 2013] Driving recorder maker SanJet Technology and cloud computing application software developer Zillians have cooperated to establish PuchCam, a social networking platform for sharing video clips recorded on-board, according to SanJet. PuchCam-supporting driving recorders can transfer one-minute clips to smartphones via built-in Wi-Fi and then the smartphones can upload the video to PuchCam, SanJet indicated. PuchCam can help search for other drivers' recording if a driver did not record the entire car accident he or she was involved, SanJet pointed out. Due to growing demand for such video-sharing, the proportion of Wi-Fi-enabled on-board recorders is increasing, particularly in the Taiwan, China, Russia and Southeast Asia markets, SanJet noted.
