Recapping the SparkFun Soldering Competition:

That was a fun competition. I was there as a spectator (being an engineer in a field that doesn’t let you do much soldering), and watching the heats and talking to competitors on techniques was awesome. The door prizes were awesome (I won an Arduino PTH kit, which I soldered and promptly gave to a co-worker who is now a SFE customer). I commend the Oskar Blues waiters and waitresses on an excellent job. They did well with so many people, especially the ones who were drinking. The next time any of you SFE-Heads are at Oskar Blues, give your waiter/waitress a little extra tip, they deserve it. Lastly, I commend and congratulate all of the SFE employees who put this on. It ran smoothly, and I would very impressed. To Nate: You hired some awesome people!
