New #energy indicator helps operate plants and rooms energy-efficiently:

With the energy indicator software from Building Technologies, room and plant operators can very quickly identify settings in their equipment that are not conducive to efficient energy consumption. The software uses a stylized, orange leaf to indicate deviations from the setpoints. A green leaf symbolizes correct settings. Room users can freely change the plant settings and adapt them to their personal comfort levels. At regular intervals, the energy indicator lets them know whether or not the selected parameters are energy-efficient. Operators can receive an e-mail notice when a plant is not operating energy-efficiently. The energy indicator is not only used to monitor energy efficiency but also permits intervention into the plant. Using the HomeControl iPhone app or a web browser, for example, the operator can set setpoints or correct settings changed by users via remote...
