Acer partners with Wistron to create BYOC smart classrooms in China, says paper EDN, December 30; Joseph Tsai, DIGITIMES [Wednesday 30 December 2015] Acer has partnered with Wistron to set up Build Your Own Cloud (BYOC) smart classrooms in Chongqing, China and it is the company's first smart education cloud computing project in China, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN ) report. Prior to the project in Chongqing, Acer also partnered with a National Chengchi University-affiliated high school and the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan to establish smart classrooms, the paper noted. Acer supplied about 1,000 tablets for the Chongqing smart classrooms to help teachers create an interactive teaching environment and the BYOC platform also store the teaching materials for back-stage analysis to help improve the teachers' teaching methods and the studen...
