Hurricane Sandy filmed from space - EE Times (blog)

While hurricane Sandy wreaked devastation down on earth, from space, the view was deceptively more serene, and even beautiful. NASA released a video of post-tropical cyclone Sandy, shot from the International Space Station, this morning (October 30), as many cities in the Northeast U.S. began picking up the pieces after the destruction. Superstorm Sandy, which spawned winds of up to 90 mph, appeared as nothing more than a slow moving swirl from space.
